About ZAIMARA

ZAIMARA is a Mediterranean artisanal label handcrafting unique luxurious easy-to-wear bohemian pieces inspired by voyages to far off places and ethnic craftsmanship.

The journey started while Nadia, eternal nomad and designer of ZAIMARA, was exploring the magical roads of South America, Europe, Australia and Asia. ZAIMARA was founded in 2016 on the beautiful island of Malta – location of our Headquarters today.

Since the end of 2017, after falling in love with a family workshop of highly skilled artisans and craftsmen, all collections of ZAIMARA are fully handmade with care and love on the tropical island of Bali, Indonesia. Each of our piece is unique, one of a kind, made by using diverse handcraft techniques and can take many days to create.

Every piece ordered from our online store is delivered worldwide by free express courier service from ZAIMARA’s European distribution centre. Our unique pieces can also be found by visiting a growing number of carefully selected multi-brand boutiques (www.zaimara.com/pages/stockists).

Ethical manufacturing

We are constantly aiming to minimise our impact on the environment and to only produce to meet the demand of our pieces. We believe in craftsmanship over industrial manufacturing processes and stand for “slow fashion” principles.

Social aspect of ethical manufacturing and well-being of our family members is equally important to us. ZAIMARA would not be the same without the love and devotion of our precious family of Balinese artisans and ZAIMARA global team members. Thank you all beautiful souls!

There is no planet B

We are deeply concerned about our planet and life around us. To support our planet and reforestation of rainforests, we have decided to start with a small contribution by planting 10 trees for each item sold online.

Furthermore, we are committed to donate at least 10% of ZAIMARA’s profits towards keeping our planet healthy and green through supporting health of our oceans, saving wildlife from extinction and animal conservationism in general.
