MARYANNE MOODIE

I´m so totally obsessed with Maryanne Moodie ´s designs!! She took up weaving as a creative outlet. Starting in 2010 the originally Melbourne based artist relocated her studio to New York in 2013 where she now creates all those stunning tapestries. Handmade, of course. She has completed commissions, collections and projects for commercial and private clients, drawing from her background in art, styling, teaching, fashion and costume. Her woven creations reference contemporary art, couture, architecture and her nostalgia of days gone by with new and surprising results.
