MIDSOMMAR MAGIC
Midsommar Magic
I love today, because today is Midsummer, also known as the Summer Solstice.
It is the longest day of the year alongside the shortest night and the first day of summer.
If we would be in Scandanavia, Estonia or Latvia we would probably feast, drink and
dance around a maypole that’s covered in local flowers right now. We would make use
of the 18-24 hours sunlight after a long and dark winter.
Three years ago I was visiting a friend, I met in Australia, in Sweden and I was lucky
enough to take part of Midsommar. It was one of the most enchanting experiences I ever
made. Flowerscrown, song and bonfires…Everyone was so cheerful and friendly. I think
everybody should make this experience at least once in life.
However, I can´t tell you how happy I am that summer finally has arrived.
I hope you all have a very magical day!
