How amazing are those bridal gowns by New Zealand label Rue De Seine?! And how beautiful is this shoot!? The label is named after Rue de Seine in St. Germain Des Pres, one of the most sought after streets in Paris. And it was this very neighborhood which inspired Rue De Seine’s designer to create the label after living, working, and celebrating her own wedding on this beautiful Parisian street. The neighborhood is infamous for being the meeting place for artists and celebrities and is the inspiration to RdS’s bohemian style. I was able to ask the lovely Greer Osborne of Rue de Seine a few questions which I want to share with you beauties:

Who is behind Rue De Seine?
We started off as 1 and now have 20 enormously talented people that make up the Rue De Seine design and production team. We  are proud to say that our dresses are made in the Rue De Seine studio in New Zealand and that some of our team has worked in bridal for a nearly a decade. We are mix of artists, dreamers, and craftsmen creating gowns as unique as our brides.
If you could describe your brand in 3 words, what would they be?
Modern Bohemian Romantic
Why bridal Fashion?
Rue De Seine was created just after my own wedding in Paris. I couldn’t find any dresses that embodied everything I wanted…romantic, easy, and different. I then decided to make my own gown followed by our first collection for brides looking for that same feel.
What inspires the woman that you design for?
Fashion, travel, and love
What’s your favorite part in your job?
The brides. We love meeting them, designing for them, and seeing them happy. It makes every part of this job better than any other profession.
Who is your Style icon/muse?
Jane Birkin
What is your favorite dress right now?
Such a difficult question! This week we love the Bella Dress. The vintage looking lace and open back is the perfect combination for the romantic bohemian. We recently had a bride wear this for her wedding day in a field with baby deer. It was so dreamy that it makes everyone in the studio gasp in amazement. We will be posting it on the blog soon!
What are Rue De Seine’s future plans?
We are so excited about our current collection and have already started thinking about the next! Every season we work towards pushing boundaries for our fashion forward brides.

Completely in love with everything they create!
